This was the worst movie I have ever watched. We felt we had to stay because my husband's uncle was an extra. He and two others came in period dress...he also came and sat with us... These big name actors did not act. It was as if they knew the movie was horrible and did not try to put any effort into their part. Watching this, comparing it to reality, I can see them hoping for a rewrite where they were captured and could hide for the remainder of the movie. My husband was a full blown western movie #1 fan. He had never seen a bad western. It took a lot for him to lie to his uncle saying how great it was. For all the years after watching this, if you asked my husband what was the worst movie he had ever seen he would not have paused in saying Of God's and Generals. I know my comments probably will not make it to your comment section...I don't mind...I don't really want people to know that I watched it...
