We often watch movies and move on, but what Rishab Shetty and his team have done is truly remarkable — they’ve explored and beautifully presented the roots of every Indian, showing how our ancestors lived, worshipped the gods, and understood their divine significance. The mention of “Dev Bandhiye Hain” and “Dev being the Rakshaks” reflects traditions that are still alive in villages across India. Rishab has captured this essence on screen with great depth. One of the most powerful moments is when the deity himself calls out “Chavundi” or “Chamunda” — it sends shivers down the spine. The way Rishab portrays that emotion feels so close to the stories we’ve all grown up hearing. All in all, I haven’t seen any movie that so deeply showcases the grassroots importance of our Devas and Devis — the divine forces that form the foundation of Indian culture. An excellent and must-watch film!
