I hate it when people fuck up the success of a movie by comparing to the originals. It wasn’t meant to be a remake it was meant to be its own separate story with its own universe not meant to be compared to the Brendon Frasier films. If you look at it from that perspective it’s a really great movie I love the concept of introducing Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and would have loved to see what adventures and discoveries him and Nick would have made together. Although the Easter egg of the Egyptian book of the dead was a brilliant touch and could have been the key of breaking Nicks curse. All in all if you look at as a separate entity From the previous movies it was actually quite brilliant I think the characters were all memorable and had unique chemistry. The CGI was amazing great special effects team there’s no reason this film should have failed
