You neither feel sorry nor anger nor hate nor like the main character but feel curious as to what happens next. Without much description one can imagine the characters and the settings. Words are precise and well written.

It is great piece of Chick lit with feminism that is neither preachy nor depressing.

It is a fantastic read with photos so you can imagine the real life struggles of Zarna Garg. Her take on life is unique.

It is a sweet novel about love and loneliness and relationships and the real world. Truly Indian. But the big words and clever descriptions while adding to the novel also complicates it.

I like that she says to read the book like a novel acknowledging the limits of her memory and telling of her life. As for her political commentary it is not journalism but part of the "novel".
