It's supposed to depict what it's like to be in a dv relationship. The guys presenting with an alcohol problem and she is painting a picture of abuse. in real life social services wouldn't allow him to have unsupervised contact till he did courses etc. Surely a risk assessment needed to be done, it's not a straight forward process in court either like they made it look cafcass have to decide if both parents are capable of safeguarding the child and with her having the car accident and him being potentially an abusive alcoholic the court wouldn't of ruled in favour it would be questioning why the child is still in both parents care. Good watch though so far.
