I thought the film got a twist of the guy not being guilty. But then the climax, did make us think how even after being proven guilty, if you come from money, you just can go have a normal life. Forget about privilege India is that country who couldn’t even give death sentence who heinously but slowly killed “Nirbhaya”. Then I can’t talk about the other rape victims because for them. It’s always the women. It’s her fault. Most of the times the rapists have said to the survivors,” be glad we let you leave,” it’s as if they pardoned us from our sins of being a woman. It’s as if it was their right to rape the women out there. It’s as if they are saying,” sorry but it’s because of your existence as a woman.” Rare cases yes men do come out not guilty but let’s talk about statistics. The majority of it, are women.
