This was not meant to be a remake but it was amazing! Spin-offs are so much better than remakes. Original story with a different perspective! Loved it!

My favorite Disney movie of all time turned into the worst live action remake of all of them. So disappointing. Only good thing was the graphics. It was so rushed and lacked emotion. Pumba was ok!

My favorite live action! They kept it as accurate as possible and it was still very entertaining!!

Even if there were slight changes… they WORKED. I loved this movie!! Entertaining throughout!

It was ok! Some scenes were good, others were not. Ariel was too emotionless compared to original. She was more calm, less bubbly, didn’t laugh or smile as much… although she can definitely sing!! Triton was also too calm, too “by the book” with his dry dialogue. The original character was more passionate. The prince was great though! So was Ursula (she KILLED it 👏). Sebastian was meh. He was missing the “it” factor. Scuttle was also surprisingly good! Flounder was cute! The movie kind of dragged on and got boring. They made story longer than it was supposed to be. Truly mixed feelings but definitely not my favorite live action. It was just ok… I’m sure kids like it though because kids in general will like anything Disney.
