Almost every fighter feels like a reskin copy of the same template, new submission mechanic deleted tons of submissions that were in Ufc 3-4. Stance stayed the same, fighters move goofy and there is an issue with damage tracking. Stamina got only worse, Ufc 3 has the best balance which made sense to do body damage. This game is for casuals who like to spam and use game’s glitches. Damage system does nothing, leg kicks are useless, the only way to win is to hit head and break block. I’m not even mentioning the lack of unique game modes and career which better would be deleted from the game, this is a shame. This game still has Herb Dean as the only referee available in the game which is nonsense. I really hope they stop scamming people and call it “as real as it gets” due to the fact that this is too far from being a realistic mma game. Just look at undisputed and see how much more various grappling is there, how many more positions it offered that time. This grappling system is still a competition of fakes and denials which is too far from real grappling.
