legacy sequels are a mixed bag, ut this movie is one of the better ones. good story, good characters, and honestly, i don't even have to explain it, i just liked it.

It's honestly not that good of a movie. But if you look at it from the lens of "This is going to be a full moon features style of bad movie," it's actually quite good. I would not recommend watching this alone, not because it's scary, but because it is the kind of movie that you need to comment on every so often for it to be more than just "bearable". It has straight to video quality, but also charm, and it's clear that the people who made this movie cared about the final product and didn't just rush it. I still have to watch the sequels, and the miniseries, but by itself, it may not be good, but it's fun. its good for what it is. Also, the trick r treat scene is honestly hilarious.
