I'd give this movie a B. The reason why many people said they didn't like the film is well it's too real, and I think they are used to the shoot 'em up, fantasy, or flimsy comedies of today. The movie portrays the reality of many middle-aged women these days (and that is its best point). Mundane, living day-to-day, trying to find love, loving children caught in their own worlds, finding oneself in the chaos, etc. Yes, the movie could have been a little better, but I can't stop getting it out of my head...so many scenes are just now sinking in and I'm appreciating it more each day. Maybe have to see it again, but will wait for streaming.
