This is easy one to decipher with the largely negative reviewers, most of whom would just rather not look into the mirror with this film. It’s too terrifying. It’s too disintegrating. Easier to pan this work. Too deep. Too real. Too heart-centric. Too . . . close to home, frankly. Waaaaayyyy too emotional for garden-variety movie reviewers, are you kiddin? “Don’t go there…” And they did. Deservedly award-winning.
