The story is messy and dragged on, but otherwise a solid entry to the franchise. A lot of the side missions did unfortunately feel like rinse-and-repeat fetch missions. the return of a lot of fan favourite NPC's was a nice touch

After my first run-through, the game is pretty good. Definitely your standard Bioware/EA outing. You could definitely feel the influences of Mass Effect and Dead Space on this game. Wasn't super stoked about the game technically being a story of the events that happened rather than you actually living the events. Cool mechanics, and a cool story though.

Crackdown 3 is an alright installment in the franchise, definitely better than 2; but that's not saying much. The campaign is more interesting than the previous game, and the graphics are much better. Wish they would stop changing the storyline of the game and actually follow up on the cliffhanger from the first game. Where is the Crackdown game where the agent goes rogue and takes down the corrupt Agency that we all want? This game does push the cameos from Terry Crews a little too hard to the point of annoyance, but that is the celebrity they went with so we have to live with it. Definitely an okay play if you're looking for something to beat over a weekend or two.

Finished GreedFall finally. It's a bit of a long game with a lot of side quests, some if which feel just like filler. If you like The Witcher and colonization, you will love this game. They do unfortunately do that thing where they take actual human civilizations and turn them I to fantasy races. Kinda awkward helping the definitely not catholic church definitely not performing the Spanish Inquisition on definitely not first nations people.

Great game, really sets the mood well with the scenery. Does feel pretty linear though and like some of your choices don't really matter. The jog mechanic is a little nauseating as well. Does a great job of portraying the madness being touched by an elder god would cause.

It bugged out on one of the last story missions and I do not have the will to live through that game again. The game was not directly terrible, it was just so incredibly "meh" that it was awful compared to the other games in the series. They will need to do a massive overhaul to the property to get me back to it. Feels like the game was written by Gen X trying to make it seem "lit" for Zoomers, but all it does is come across as out of touch and really cringe-worthy.

Excellent game, definitely a return to form after Bioshock 2. The story was engaging, the lore was decently deep, and the science fiction of it was the perfect mix. The ending is a little predictable but the whole overarching plot makes it worth the experience. The bad guys are white supremacists so there are racist moments in the game (portrayed as bad and reprehensible), so if that is not something you are comfortable with, consider this a content warning.
