What a wasted opportunity with such a stellar cast not to use them to to make a great film instead of this film which could not make up it's mind whether to be a funny and slapstick tale or a feeble attempt to give the diversity treatment to this classic Dickens story. It was too long, repetitive and puerile in places. Disappointing.
