Jane Brundage

I have read almost every Reacher book and really enjoyed this version. Tom Cruise got the story lines down well, though his physique was nothing like the Reacher as described in the novels. This version portrays the large, intimidating physique as described in the books, and the blunt honesty and matter-of-fact military style brutality Reacher sometimes feels is necessary. I think this is a very satisfying version of the Reacher novel. So does my husband, who has read every Reacher novel more than once, and introduced me to them. We sincerely hope there are more seasons to portray different Reacher novels.

An interesting, tense movie but the ending just kind of didn't end. Left you up in the air as if it would be resolved in the next episode. But there isn't a next episode. Or did they run out of money to actually finish the movie? So we were just left at the end wondering, what, that's it? Disapponting. Also thought the female FBI was miscast. She seemed blank, emotionless. Giving it a 4 stars for the film up till the ending, but 1 star for the end.

Great, completing, then sudden, unresolved, inexplicable ending. Actually, it ended with no resolution, no ending, a meaningless end. Which left us rather angry. Why? Is a part two coming out or did they just not know how to end it, or did the filmmakers run out of money before they finished?
