There seems to be a lot of struggle, but I dont understand what's going on, even after watching a second time. So I read the plot on wikipedia, and still I cant understand what exactly is going on in this movie.

This is the most fun I've had with a Netflix show for a while. Characters and dialogue are funny.

It misses the point of Addams Family, I feel, which is a counter culture relative to the normal mainstream family. Once you put the Addams Family in a society where supernatural and horror is the norm, then what's the point of the show? Certainly there is a whole supernatural world from where the Addams Family came from, but they're always in the background of the stories for a reason - once the Addamses are no longer the outliers in the community, they lose their appeal.

I didnt play the games, so I dont think I belong to the fans category. Show is boring, lost interest at episode 2. It seems to have a split personality of wanting to be a zombie show sometimes, and a teenage sisterhood/family drama other times. The jump back and forth between past and present is annoying. It comes to a point where it happens every one to two minutes or so. Even the present zombie action storyline is bland. Just lots of running being chased by Umbrella with no clear direction to the story, and not much else happening.
