As someone who is the daughter of mother who chose abusive men over her children, and as someone who read the book first and then watching this movie, I just want to thank the amazing people who brought this book to life in this movie. I am pregnant with my first child, and itโs a boy. The cycle ended with me and I am going to teach my son to treat women like Atlas treated Lily when she needed him most. This movie is so inspiring. #TheCycleEndsWithUs!
