If you’ve read the book then you know this film does not do the book justice. A good cast but the film had no depth to it, just seemed like a drama about choosing between two boys, and did not include much detail on the nature aspect or that fact that she was really just as wild as the swamp itself. Daisy is portrayed as an outcast, but she could have been portrayed more wild to pull off the what she does at the end of the story. The book is much better but it seems like it does take quite a while to get to a climax with this story, both in the book and movie.
