I was skeptical at first from the opening scene. It felt like a story I had heard told many times before, but after giving it some time, it was well worth the 2 hour plus runtime. There's not a single actor that doesn't crush they're role. Christian bale of course was amazing. The cinematography was gorgeous, the ending kinda broke me but in a good way. Definitely a great watch if you love westerns. Definitely should have been an Oscar nominated film.
