Interesting plot, etc but what spoiled it for me was that 1. The orphanage did not tell them about the sister, 2. The sister did not tell the family about the other sister, 3. The therapist did not uncover the existence of the sister.
At the end, you are left asking yourself these questions. If you ignore this aspect of the book, then it is a fun read.
