I thought overall the show was good and kept you wanting to watch the next episode. Character development could have been better to give more of a backstory of the main characters lives to get to where they presently were. However, with the limited information it was good. Spoiler alert: The show has a plot of getting a long lost daughter back. The main character gets her back and loses her again. He gets her back a second time and then the season ends with him finding his wife stabbed to death after she went to the bathroom with his daughter. His instant reaction is to blame his daughter instead of thinking his wife was killed and his daughter was taken again? I didn’t think that made a ton of sense after what the season had been building up to. If there had been more discussion between the daughter and antagonist that would have lead us to believe she was compromised, maybe that ending would have worked better. It’ll be interesting to see where they go with season 2. I guess one could say the daughter is responsible mainly for letting the antagonist go free instead of ending the problem once and for all.

This movie is a perfect example of being paid for a product before it’s complete. There’s a reason this wasn’t released at the theaters because they would have lost money. The first 15 minutes or so were great. After that, the storyline goes missing and it’s a cameo packed movie with no purpose. The movie had potential and Sandler missed a great opportunity to capitalize on it. Spoiler alert: When it starts out with his wife dying from being struck by a ball and proceeds to a bunch of professional golfers driving balls at a guy with only a helmet on…make it make sense. I get Sandler is known for his out of pocket humor, but the original Happy Gilmore was hilarious throughout. Moving on to the competition with the new league and having to drive over the forest, they lost the idea of golf in the movie. Also, he won multiple gold jackets, but has no money? The plot could have been so much better and they could have kept true to playing golf. I will continue to watch the original for ages to come. I will not watch this movie for a second time as it was a waste of 2 hours. Maybe Netflix should wait to pay for a product until they see how it performs to ensure they get quality movies.

The only sad part of this review is that this is the final season. Great show, great cast and storyline. It’s a believable show and keeps you hooked. No spoilers here, but worth a watch if you like corruption story lines!

Fun, intense and keeps you on your toes! Overall, the first two episodes were great. It kept me wanting to know what happens next and if anyone is who they say they are. The one issue I had (SPOILER ALERT) once he’s the most wanted man, there’s no chance he walks into a police station without some type of disguise and at first he was wearing a hat to help, but that went away too. Otherwise it’s been good!

The storyline was great and kept you wanting to watch the next episode to see what happens. I thought the actors all played their role well. Hoping there will be another season as there’s too many times the good shows get canned too early.

Huge fan of Yellowstone and 1883. 2 episodes in to 1923 and I couldn’t tell you what’s going on. There’s 3 separate plot lines and so far none of them are relating to how Yellowstone Ranch became Yellowstone Ranch. It’s disappointing to see one of these story lines wasted when there was potential.
