I am a big fan of Zombie movies, unfortunately this was not the case with black summer. We are thrown into a mass evacuation with no apparent timeline. When did the outbreak occur. How fast did it spread. We can only conclude that it rapid as the dead change in seconds. These are also the most capable zombie/sniffer dogs I have seen as they as seen to find the one human they are they are persuing, run like they are the ones being chased and acquiring more skills as the show progresses. No one in the show knows that head trauma kills a zombie even after killing a couple in this manner. They were all raised in the same barn as none of them know to close the door behind them even when being persued by a flesh eating zombie. Huge leaps are made in the story with no explanation. Lazy writing. Total chaos.

Waste of time. 10 episodes into season two and they haven't explained a thing. They keep introducing new twist to keep the viewer locked, signs and clues leading nowhere. I don't think the show has direction and neither do the characters. A bad copy of lost in my opinion.
