Well, it picks up nicely in beginning, you get to see multiple spheres of the main protagonist's life and how his work constantly clashes with others (wife, life, kids).
Multiple side-storylines emerge from there, his wife switches job and starts spending more time with a male colleague, their teenage daughter has troubles dealing with boys, and protagonist (Sri) is transferred to Srinagar for a brief period where he works under his old love interest from college, some chemistry starts.
Other than these parts, in the mainframe everything looks kind of dull to me, there's a tip for a terrorist attack, they kill wrong people as suspects, then protagonist uses photoshop (wow!, smart uh!) to crop a bunch of eyes from ISIS pics and finds a match, we get the antagonist, and then the usual find-da-bomb stuff.
Overall, after having watched many CID episodes, this just feels like another of their storyline wrapped with multiple interesting characters and lots of cussing.
