This movie has it all! It's precisely the kind of movie we love the most. It's an action sci-fi hybrid. The monsters are fantastic. The backstory is sufficiently explained. The action is just the right amount without going on for way too long. And as a bonus the characters are very likable, there's a romance, and a historical tie-in.
