I had high hopes before watching this. They were quickly dropped. The good…I like the MC’s outfits. I like the cinematography. The bad…The acting seems as if every actor hates their character but needed a paycheck so they agreed. I honestly couldn’t tell a few episodes in if the accents were a joke that the viewer would be let in on eventually. (I’m still waiting.) I actually really, really detest the MC. She’s a brat. The plot so far hinges on the fact that they refuse to dock. And why does Rufus keep reiterating how brilliant the MC is supposed to be? So far I haven’t seen any evidence to support this. If this is an homage to AC, then AC’s family should sue for emotional distress.
