This is a great film for a wide audience. I watched this with a group of 12-13 year olds having a sleepover last night & they loved it. Constant laughs & “oohs” & “ahhs.” They liked the martial arts & the story. They were all like, “I wish my parents were spies!” It was really cool to get so many kids to actually all like a movie. Usually there’s at least a couple kids complaining. I think as the adult, the thrill of them enjoying it made me appreciate it a lot, also. It sucks this has gotten such bad reviews. Give it a chance, especially if you have young teens. It’s a great movie night for the family. Yes- there’s violence, but it’s not like bloody or anything. Just martial arts.

An excellent new film of Barker’s original. It sticks to the original story before the first film was even made. Hopefully they’ll do some sequels. Btw, people who complain about a female (or that she’s trans) don’t know a thing about Barker or the Hellraiser franchise & it’s both pathetic and hilarious. The same people who think RATM was for you. Everything you don’t like is “woke,” we know. We know.

I finally just watched the whole show. Wow. I’m in shock! This show deserves all the awards!! I can’t believe how good it was. I can’t even… AHHH! I don’t have the words. Just watch it!

I thought the movie was great. I saw people complain about the cast being “too young,” which is ridiculous. Sigourney Weaver was 28 in the og “Alien,” and Cailee Spaeny is 26. Not much of a difference there, guys. This movie brings you back to the feel of the first two movies & I like that. I like that they didn’t use a ton of cgi & crap for the alien. That was an actual actor in a suit. The new alien was also an actor (well, he’s a basketball player, new to acting- I think). Obviously the scenes from space weren’t really filmed in space, but it looked good. It looked believable. The acting was good, the storyline was good. The sets and special effects and makeup were all really good! If you let yourself get immersed into a horror film- just let it take you- you’ll be tensed up and sitting up in your seat. That’s what makes a good horror film, imo. I don’t find movies like “The Terrifier” scary, whatsoever. They’re boring. Those movies didn’t make me afraid of clowns. “Poltergeist” did. The filmmakers had it right in the 70’s & 80’s. They gave us real fear & I felt that with this film. I’m hoping they make a sequel- but just one.

I thought this movie was exceptional. Sorry to say I’ve never been a huge Anna Kendrick fan, but she got me with this one. What a great directorial debut! The acting was superb, as was the setting and story. It may not have been exactly as things happened, but when are they ever? It’s a movie. Duh. The fact is, this is based on a real-life story and the guy was a creep. Trust your gut, people. Btw, the reviewer below me says they put in a “token poc” instead of just having a white woman. Literally, wtf? The reviewer goes on to say it makes them a “you-know-what” by saying that. Yeah, it does. I’m so tired of white people complaining about BIPOC people in movies & tv shows. They say if they speak up then it makes them a racist. Newsflash: YOU ARE. You think only straight, cis, white women & men should be making movies? If you can’t handle seeing non-white people on your screen, pick up a book… if it’s not banned where you live.

Awful. Almost seemed like a comedy at some points. It went way too fast & didn't delve into the backstory or the characters at all. The acting was pretty decent, but that’s about it. Definitely doesn’t live up to King’s book or even the 1979 version. Cool to see William Sadler in a new movie, though.

NO SPOILERS (mostly- until edit): The cast, story, costumes, and special effects are outstanding. Kathryn Hahn proves again she is a true queen on every screen. Also, love Sasheer Zamata (miss her on SNL) and Patti LuPone (an icon). This is, so far, an excellent spinoff of WandaVision and I can’t wait for more! It’s hard to wait a week for another episode, but it’s worth the wait. If you loved Agatha in WandaVision or the comics, you’re gonna love this! P.S. All the one-star reviews are saying this is a “DEI” project. Some even saying there are “no whites.” Seriously? The MAIN CHARACTER is white. They also say the show is pushing LGBTQ “agenda,” when literally the ONLY thing that happened was in the second episode when Teen gets a call & ignores it & says to Agatha, “he worries.” That’s it!! What is wrong with you judgmental, homophobic, racist people? Oh, I guess I just answered my own question. It’s you.

I’m giving this 5 stars to offset some of the one stars, because it honestly deserves 4 stars. Josh Harnett was spectacular & the movie kept me interested the whole time. I know he was bad, but I kept rooting for him to get away. The only thing about it was Saleka’s acting… not good. She’s an amazing singer, but she should’ve had more acting classes or something. Other than that, it was suspenseful & finished on a strong note! I’d definitely recommend this. I didn’t have high hopes, bc M Night’s movies aren’t great (except for “The Sixth Sense” and “Signs,” obviously). This was definitely his best work since those movies. I hope he can stick with this kind of filmmaking, because it was really quite good.

I really enjoy this series. It’s funny and suspenseful. I love that Vince Vaughn has a more laidback style in this. He’s not all hyper and wild like in most of his previous work. He’s talking slower, taking things more seriously, while at the same time, delivering some much-deserved laughs. The neighbor, bwahaha! Love Alex Moffit. I also love the stories of the two men (Neville, played by Ronald Peet & Yansi, played by Vaughn) existing together, but they don’t even know each other… yet. The dragon queen, Jodie Turner-Smith, is absolutely gorgeous & a great actor. Seriously, give this show a chance.

This movie was so good!!! I had no idea what was going to happen. I didn’t watch spoilers or even trailers, so everything was a surprise. I really can’t stand Rotten Tomatoes. I never go by what they say. I look at Google reviews, because they’re more real. Definitely watch this movie. Sandra Bullock is fantastic. I’m from & live in Seattle, so I can see this was mostly filmed in B.C., but they do that with every movie. Some movies & shows can be annoying in that way, but they do a really good job with this one. Bravo to everyone involved!!
