Before someone gripes, I understand that this movie is made for the younger audience. I myself am 16. Now, I first have to talk about the story. The story in this movie is mediocre at best. Absolutely nothing really makes sense and (spoiler alert) the ending is pretty bad. The robots were controlled by a piece of paper? Some aspects in the story get completely tossed away when something new happens. The lore of FNAF doesn't connect well and the only thing that the movie has going for it the Youtube star cameos. Since this thing has been in the works since the dawn of time, I assumed the story would actually be very good. I thought that maybe some questions would be answered and I thought that the story would be a little dark and scary. Enough b*tching, now onto the good parts. The design of the animatronics were pretty good! I really liked the visuals in the movie and I honestly think that the designs of everything was the best part of the movie. Everything down to the glass on the floor seemed correctly placed. The costume designs were amazing and the arcade also looked amazing. If the movie was less geared towards children, I wouldn't rate this so lowly. The horror genre has never really been geared towards the little kids, but ever since "mascot horror", horror is now all for kids. I understand that Scott goes where the money is, but I would've really like it more if the movie had a better story and was geared towards a more mature audience.
