In reply to "DJ Kidd" calling this a ripoff of a Lifetime movie about 'Esme Stoller' - no. Esme Stoller was not a real person. She was based on the real story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. I do not think "Run" is really based on that true story. It's very different. It's a taut, claustrophobic thriller that twists and turns, with a really effective performance from Sarah Paulson, completely different to characters she usually plays.
