How anyone can remotely believe this film is good has got no taste whatsoever. No critical thinking skills either. It was bad. It tried so hard to be something innovative, but frankly it was the same 18 minutes over and over and over and it was just tedious. I can't believe I actually wasted my time watching this. Make a better choice, watch Fail Safe instead. For anyone reading this review please learn from my mistake. Do yourself a huge favor and just hit yourself in the head with a hammer instead. it would be far more entertaining.

Painfully obvious plot within the first 6 minutes. The hole in the capsule gives it away. Hardly worth your time. Just slogged through it. Was right. It is trash.

It was an interesting follow-up to T2 and closed off the Skynet issues forever in a single sentence. This did not however mean that the future will be safe and free of cyber domination. After all, mankind is predictably stupid. Terminator dark fate has enjoyable if not predictable performances and is visually engaging. Is it Shakespeare of course not, it is however, old destruction made new through CGI. Perhaps the greatest asset to this film is that it helps get the terrible taste of the last three Terminator entries out of the mouth once and for all! Genesis, Salvation, and Rise of the Machines essentially put the Terminator franchise into such a convoluted mess nothing short of a visit from Doctor Who could fix it. Even though that proved not to be the case with the addition of Matt Smith in Genesis. All in all, it is a pretty enjoyable film and fun way to spend just over two hours.

I did not expect this film to gut punch me the way it did. It is 3 a.m. and it has me thinking things regarding production animals and lifestyle. The story is predictable yet still fresh. There are ample servings of humour coupled with grotesque inhumanity. This is so much more than a morality play about eating meat. It is about reverence for life...all life. Images of concentration camps, brutal sexual assaults and forced separations are woven into the film in such a way as to leave the viewer haunted long after credits end. I have not felt a rollercoaster of film in a very long time, until now. You have to watch this and let it pull you along. Performances by the cast are remarkable and earn high praise. I wish the film and soundtrack were available to purchase.

This film relies on using a lot of plot crutches from a quiet place the bird box even The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. There is nothing original in it. the performances are capable but the writing is weak. If you don't mind wasting 90 minutes go ahead and watch it but if you have other things to do like wash your hair or wash the car...go for that instead.

It was ok I suppose. Some of the promising was fairly ridiculous in the suspension of disbelief. You're trying to stop something that is a threat to you. You see that they get shot in the torso or legs dozens upon dozens of times and it doesn't stop hem. So shoot them in the head and then realize that head shots are how to deal with them. For the most part that never really happens in this. I also found it a little difficult to digest the first several episodes the survivors are just wandering around weaponless. They're not even grabbing obvious things that are all over the place like tire irons, broom handles, mop handles, shovels just so many things that characters just frankly walk past. Do I recommend this? Well I did binge it this afternoon because there was nothing else on the go. Not sure how I feel about high-speed zombies. More like just heavy infections with rabies and Ebola. They have lifted a few things liberally out of The Walking Dead universe which I suppose is to be expected. The ending of season 1 is garbage. 2 stars out of 5
