While not in the "top tier" of baseball movies, it is in that next shelf down. It doesn't have the romanticism that movies such as "The Natural" or "Field of Dreams" have, but what it does have is jokes, and a ton of them. The "group of losers win big" story arc is predictable but done well....great movie durring a rain delay
