The intern was a sweet and moving tale of finding purpose after retirement. Ben whittaker played Robert Di Niro resolves to find something meaningful after retirement and is he quite vocal about the trials and tribulations he went through trying to fit in! And the first day after his joining, he ponders on how he liked being a part of something and this gave him a purpose :) The entire movie was gracefully done with beautiful music and dialogues. There is a sweet moment when Jules confesses that she might have to be burried alone and Ben offers that she can be burried with him! Ben's character really stands out with respect to his outlook on life, his grounded nature and his calming and almost serene way of accepting life as it is. A wonderful movie overall leaving us with a profound undereated happiness :)

Mind blowing narrative and dialogues, thappad was a wonderful movie with a very good message to take forward! Like a slap on the face of patriarchy! The most startling thing about the whole movie was probably the way the characters were dealt with in a kind and relatable manner that anyone and everyone could almost relate to it. The most iconic moment for me in the whole movie was this particular moment when Vikram's boss gently asks him, "Would you have hit me or thapar?". The dialogue surmises everything the movie stood for. "You should have given her more time, she was hurt." And of course the final highlight where Vikram confesses that he never even apologised for the mistake! This movie received a lot of mixed reviews but from a personal standpoint, this movie is everything the society needs right now!
