Even with a good rating this movie is underrated and often forgotten by most. The acting was superb and the cast was well chosen. Down to the brilliant acting by the guys playing the scientists. Burn Gorman is a genius and a true craftsman of his art from Torchwood to this film and whichever films he does from then on. Charlie Day, another great actor with the perfect comedic yet brilliant acting capabilities, these two guys could definitely collaborate and make a genuinely good movie together. Idris Elba, nothing needs to be added, the man is a legend. Great movie

I think critics get caught in their own flying dust and metal bubbles to recognize what is a genuinely good action movie. I own the movie, I think it will become a classic for its realness to a fictional story line. They give us a glimpse of one units trials and errors against an alien enemy, it's not meant to give us the broad spectrum of the globe. Critics can eat it on this one. A+ film, I guess it's just so to the point that it's not appreciated by people who get paid to critique films.
