Funny sitcom about a cantankerous southern driving instructor. I liked it & think it would have developed. Honestly they'd cancel any of the classic comedies these days after one series if it was criticised by the pc brigade

Inferior to the original. What are the 2 smiling nodding dog assistants needed for ? Its now an all female setup as the new 'Byrd' is kept out of view. JJ struggles to stretch out the cases desperately trying to belittle the (usually male) victims. She now cones over as a sexist, grumpy out of touch attention seeker...
