A deep immersion into the people, their culture and the tiny disappearing island upon which they live. Famed for its isolation, we can learn a great deal about ourselves from this micro society. I was awed by their courage and perseverance, yet stunned that the tribalism, stubborn narrow-mindedness and procrastination is as common on Tangier as it is anywhere else.
