I have been looking forward to this movie all year, especially with it being my must-watch holiday movie. I LOVE the Matrix Trilogy ... but I was so disappointed in this one! This movie has a lot of talking about the past, showing clips from the past, and reenacting (less successfully) fight scenes from the previous movies. No new, awesome action scenes!?! ☹ And, I struggled to stay awake at lloonngg dialog scenes that were repetitive (over use of the loop idea). I'll give an extra star for the performances of Neil Patrick Harris, Keanu Reeves, the new character Bugs, and the ending. In my opinion, they could have cut 1 hour of talking and rewinds (yeah, I got that this was a loop the first time it was explained). The Matrix Trilogy was perfect and didn't need resurrecting after all.
