genuinely people who hate this movie just hate fun. my silly ass was CACKLING with glee 😭 i actually really enjoyed the characters (the rest of the JW franchise is..i just watch to laugh at it.), i thought the story was fine. the suspense was executed great! what i LOVED though, was that the homages to the first film weren’t “HEY GUYS! REMEMBER THE FIRST MOVIE? REMEMBER WE DID THAT? THATS FROM THE FIRST MOVIE! REMEMBER?”. it was fun to pick out the references, but parallel scenes felt *so* distinct and fresh. my only compalints are that the paleontologist guy needs to get his degree revoked. mosasaurs and quetzalcoatlus aren’t dinosaurs, dammit!! mosasaurus is a lizard!! quetzalcoatlus is a pterosaur!! just because a lionfish has the word “lion” in it doesn’t make it a lion😔. i can excuse all of that with the IMMACULATE spinosaurus design. autism heaven

fun, when you know what to do. i read this game was beginner friendly- im not a beginner, but i got stuck so, so often. i wish some tasks were more clear and some items easier to find. so often id be in a room unsure where to go, looking around for 30 mins until i look up at just the right angle to get the option to jump on something. it’s even more annoying when there’s the little robots chasing you with no clear exit, so you end up dying over and over until again, you look up at just the right angle to jump. theres lots of little items around- so when you have a specific thing you need to find, its like looking for a needle in a haystack. i have no idea why people say this game is beginner friendly. it’s fun when it’s not frustrating :/
