This in my opinion is one of the view movies I can truly give a 5 star I mostly give 4 stars to great movies even but most movies have even the smallest holes you can poke through them not meaning there not amazing but if im going to say something's perfect it has to be 100% perfect and this movie is 10/10 on the music 10/10 on the art and animation 10/10 on the story it is easily in my top 3 movies very possibly #1 cant wait for season 2

Smiling friends is a fresh breath of air in the mostly stale lineup of adult animation as a whole. I will admit that I have some bias for the show I’m a big fan of zack hadle and have been following his work for years I love oney plays and I grew up watching Newgrounds animators like him, oney, and rice pirate. I’m going to compare this show to some other adult animated show mainly family guy big mouth and Rick and morty. Family guy is a beloved show and it’s a good one but that’s where a big problem comes in so many shows try and copy family guy and most fail but smiling friends is it’s own thing it knows what it is and a lot of the Creators identity is in it and that’s what I love I just hope that zack and Michel don’t fall out of love with the show like Seth McFarlane did with family guy. Smiling friends also doesn’t go overboard with the Gross out humor like big mouth does ya it has its graphic moment but I never felt uncomfortable watching it smiling friends knows how to be Subtle with its jokes at times and that’s hard to come by now a-days. Lastly it a Rick and morty both air on adult swim but I enjoy smiling friends far more because the characters are far more relatable. All in all 9.5/10 great job
