But if you are in a pretty good place and "just" wanting to deepen your faith, this may not be the most uplifting book to start each day. The daily devotionals in this book feel a bit like being pulled back each morning toward a dark place one has grown, healed and moved forward from. For a specific audience in a challenging point in their life this is probably a great book.
