I brought this book after reading so many positive reviews....but I am regretting it now. This book is just OVERRATED!! The story isn't so bad but the writing style is. This is what makes the whole book boring for me and because of that I didn't feel any connection with the characters. Also there were so many senseless scenes like when Hazel agreed to go Augustus's house at their first meeting, how could she trust a stranger? And then that cigarette metaphor and their long boring philosophical conversations (which didn't sound like they're teens).
Spoiler alert:
And then the Augustus forced death which John green presented in just one line - "After 8 days of pre funeral he died" that's it. I don't know how does a single line can make it emotional. After reading the book, I just wanted to throw it out of my window!
