As an avid fan of the film I could not help but make comparisons. The playscript was true to the film which in a way is its downfall as inevitably you can't help comparing the delivery to the original. Unfortunately, the lead characters lacked chemistry and sounded false. The original songs were eminently forgettable. Paying £50 to see this poor imitation was a mistake. Huge! I
