This is written by someone who knows nothing about life or human psychology and is fascinated by the idea of people turning into savages in the middle of the crisis.
Well, I've seen a lot and let me tell you, more people turn to helping one another, to incredible love and bravery, despite knowing it would cost them their own life.
The writing style itself isn't my cup of tea, the characters are no more than weird puppets the author's playing with but they are never allowed to actually come alive.
The only thing I can applaud is the mention of the sordid past of the Han exploration with multiple species wiped out by greed. Unfortunately, the simple "humans are evil" idea is boring and isn't even true (and I don't even like humans but I don't like black and white thinking more).
