This is a superb novel and for good reason, an award winner. It weaves a long story of family which is compelling, hilarious and heartbreaking. It leaves you wondering about the relationships your own ancestors really had, the hardships they endured, and the children who found themselves trying to sort their way through the emotional geography. Highly recommend!
