Woo-jae is the only husband who cheated that I pity for having a traumatic past, a wicked father, crazy, and obsessed girls around her, and an unforgiving wife who is also ‘cheating’ on him. He was also made a suspicious character who was quickly judged by his wife. Jang Seung-jo played his role well, and looks the part of a troubled, lonely, frustrated, stressed husband who lacks sleep hahaha. Seriously, if not for him I would have stopped watching early on the series. The FL and ML has no chemistry at all and their encounters are more cringey and painful to watch, and it happens in most episodes which is unnecessary and simply a waste of airtime. For me, the character of the ML is not an ideal detective. His actions are more personal than professional because of his love interest. This is the second Kdrama of Kim Haneul that I watched in which she portrays the role of a wife ‘cheating’ on his husband who can’t wait to get a divorce first before meeting up in secret and kissing another guy. Watching her act is so depressing, I have to skip almost all the parts she’s in.
