*Disclaimer if you are not a stickler for grammar and don’t know the difference or care about books that tell instead of show you may love this book.
For me, this book is very disappointing, especially because the concept makes for a great story. The book is not written well, especially to be a traditionally published book. The characters have no life, everything is just being told and gives such little expression places where actual dialogue would fit and impact much better. There’s also a lot of filler. The timeline and of the book is also confusing because the author does not do a good job with the tense of words. One sentence will use a present verb and a few sentences later will use a past tense verb. And the formatting makes it very hard to keep up with who is talking and what character is who.
