Rosary “Rose” Uti

NCIS is a favorite show of mine but the past few seasons with the new characters have been really disappointing and...boring. I miss the close-knit-dysfunctional-but-funny-family feel between the original cast members. Kate was a favorite of mine and when Ziva joined the team it was flawless. Bishop is just too whiny and always looking for approval and a 'pat on the back for a job well done' which makes me cringe and roll my eyes everytime. The writers should have kept her married to Jake without the whole affair background. It would've made for a great story arc and relations with the NSA. If they wanted to shake things up they should have killed him off instead of the whole cheating thing which made it more like a soap opera. Then with true NCIS fashion they could have gone after the bad guy/gal. She just doesn't fit. I was just starting to like Kaisie but now she's boring to watch. Just finished watching the most recent episode of Season 17 (BTW welcome back, Ziva!!) and her back story and character are just..boring. I honestly don't know what else to say. I miss Abby and her music. Someone wrote they prefer the geeky assistant that wore bells over Kaisie and I agree. Bring him into the mix. He was fun and quirky. Torres was interesting but it's the same as Bishop and Kaisie. Also, please don't do the romance thing between he and Bishop. Just stop. They have ZERO chemistry and it just seems like the writers are pushing it because of the whole Tony-Ziva relationship. Please give Jimmy a fun and quirky assistant like he was with Ducky. He seems to be getting boring too which makes me sad. I loved the addition of Jack but feel like her character is a throwaway. She's super tough and funny. She should replace Bishop. Also, bring back Abigail "Abby" Borin from CGIS! I've stuck to watching reruns from S1 to S11:8 and a couple episodes after that such as the one with Gibbs, Fornell and Phil at Gibbs' cabin. That was a fun one. Other than that, I just skip through the episodes. I haven't given up on NCIS but if this last episode S17:8 is any indication of what's to come...I guess I'll just stick to watching reruns of past seasons.
