Such an incredible movie which shows the women empowerment. A change with so much effort. I watched this movie in 2024 now so many things have changed, but I know all the efforts the women made that time. I am sure that the character of Katherine had inspire so many women. All the cast and every character have their significant in this movie. It says so many things about that time, society, culture and role of women. Women who fought for their freedom, dreams and choices, thanks to them now this generation can have their dreams which they are living freely. If you like vintage movies or about women empowerment then its perfect movie even for girls night also. You can relate some scene of movie with the novel 'The Handmaids Tale'. Women learn how to be a perfect 'housewife' for their husband in movie where as in novel women learn how to be a 'handmaid'. In both movie and novel, there are some women who teachings them and forcing them. Overall the movie has been displayed so good which is telling the situation and condition of the women in 1950's and how they took step to change those frivolous traditions. The grow in character of Betty Warren was absolute amazing.
