Yeah to be honest it's okay-ish. Riker went on about the satisfying combat. He must have got paid to say that. It's fairly good looking graphics wise. Game play sucks. Variety of armor and weapons is terrible. The combat is like watching a movie as a caster. Your pawns fight and you spam your one good spell over and over. It feels extremely clunky in terms of game play. Can't say I'd recommend it.

I'm going to give it a 5 star even though I truly thought it was a 4 star. Just to help offset all the bad fan fare. The story was very interesting. Acting was also very good. I saw a few that said the main character was a terrible actor. That wasn't my experience at all. I thought he was good. I can't say I've never seen better, but he definitely was good. My only two real complaints (one of which is stupid) was one I can't stand the "film grain" effect. It's terrible when they add that to a nice crisp HDR film. It totally screws up the picture. The second, they never fired the over sized tanks main weapon in the scene where they appeared. I was definitely anticipating a grand style explosion. Still a good movie though. Worth renting, not buying.

Okay getting started took a good while. The starting difficulty is, or at least was pre-patch, a bit much. Once you got past the first major boss though, then things got really good. Like all souls games you can farm levels if you have the required patience for a repetitive task. Once properly leveled up though this game is pretty epic. One of the better games I've played in years. Think elden ring but not a totally open words, but also better graphics. The two games are very similar. Both excellent games.
