I like a novel with complex characters in whom I can believe. The heroine of this book is totally unflawed, a morally perfect genius who is successful at everything, a sort of feminist equivalent of James Bond. The women are goodies, the men are almost unanimously villains. There isn't a single character with a mixture of good and bad in them and only a single character who has anything resembling a character arc.
If you like simplistic wish-fulfilment novels with zero depth, this is the book for you.
