I almost never leave reviews for shows but I found this gem of a show and absolutely loved it. It’s not often you get 4 strong seasons that ended well and knew when to end on a high. All the characters were so compelling and well written I was constantly rooting for them all, even the bad guys. Brilliant fight scenes and amazing bloody scenes that so many crime shows are missing these days. Action packed and brilliant acting from all the cast. Antony Starr in particular was amazing. This show had so much in it: I laughed, winced and cried the whole way through. Brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant show. I've watched it so many times and it never fails to amaze me. Such a brilliant premise and such engaging characters with interesting plotlines. Despite the common 'case of the episode' format, it never got repetitive and all the side characters were brilliantly developed. Character development for all the leads was fantastic throughout the run of the show and brilliant acting from the whole cast. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish and undoubtedly one of my favourite TV shows of all time. (Just rewatched the first season again and couldn't stop smiling. This show and its characters make me so damn happy.)
