I purchased Farm to Table: Fresh and Seasonal Recipes for the Home Cook expecting a good collection of recipes, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Despite the title, the book contains about 118 pages of conversational writing about what fruits and vegetables to buy in each season, with no actual recipes included. For the price, I expected practical, usable content for cooking at home, but instead it felt more like a casual chat rather than a cookbook. If you’re looking for a recipe-driven resource, this isn’t it.
