For the complainers...it's based on a Webtoon (Korean digital cartoons), so it's supposed to be exaggerated and nonsensical at times. While Hollywood like their heroes in tight costumes with supernatural powers, in Korean webtoons, the heroes are regular people who have heart, determination, strong work ethics and a need to fight for justice. And so, they are able to beat up a whole bunch of bad guys without getting seriously hurt. It's about the little guy winning at the end. A simple difference in taste.
Aside from that, the plot is simple and straightforward so easy to watch. The action is superb. The two leads are convincing in their fight scenes. You can tell they put in a lot of work into their training. Bravo!
It's not supposed to be a Korean "Rocky" movie with superb emotional writing. It's supposed to be fun and fun it is! It's only 4 stars instead of 5 because they gave away all that gold to an already rich dude. What?! They should have used it to continue Choi's legacy. Plus, the girl just poof and disappears.
Why can't there be Mustangs in Korea??? Seoul and Busan streets are peppered with super luxury cars. A Mustang is nothing in comparison.
